You can now win a chance to purchase piece #9 (A SINGLE DIGIT NUMBER!) of any new "limited edition" Harbour Lights lighthouse. It started with the June announcement of the 2008 Summer Releases. (1) What does this mean? First of all, this is not a giveaway. You have a chance to win the single digit number (#9) for the new release(s) that you have ordered. Secondly; you CANNOT order or reserve piece #9 at any time, for any piece. The recipient of each #9 piece will be drawn by raffle. Each piece will have its own individual raffle. (2) How do I enter the raffle, and have a chance to win piece #9? EASY. Twice a year, Harbour Lights announces a new set of releases, usually early June and late December. If you order/reserve at least 3 pieces from that set of limited editions (limited editions can also include "special editions" that are numbered, like fresnel lenses, Christmas pieces, etc.), you qualify for the raffle for those pieces. The raffle for a particular piece will take place on the day that it arrives at our store, so it is best to order your selections as soon as we post the Harbour Lights announcement. New releases can sometimes arrive within 2 weeks of the announcement, and are NEVER in the order first projected by Harbour Lights. Order EARLY; don't miss out! (3) What else should I know? You can only win ONE #9 piece PER set of new releases. If you win the raffle for #9 in a certain piece, your name will be withdrawn from the raffle(s) of your other ordered pieces that have not yet arrived. We want as many people as possible to win a single digit piece. If there are six "limited edition" pieces in a set of new releases, we want six different winners. (4) How do I NOT miss the new release announcement, and thus the raffles? For 2 years now, we have offered our e-mail notifications of the new releases to all of our Harbour Lights customers. It will have a link to the Harbour Lights "New Releases" page of our web site, where all of the new releases will be pictured and available for sale. We are often the first dealer in the country to have the new releases posted, usually within 24 hours of notification from Harbour Lights. If you would like to receive these Harbour Lights e-mails, just e-mail us (click below on "E-mail Us With Your Questions or Comments"), and say "I want to receive the Harbour Lights e-mails." You will be notified of every "new release" announcement that we receive from Harbour Lights from then on. (5) Is there any advantage to being the first one to order? Since it is a raffle, NO, there is no advantage. Again, you just want to be sure that you order BEFORE they arrive at our store. If we get "inside" info that a container ship is arriving with certain pieces on it, we will usually post this on our web site, but that doesn't always happen. (6) What about random, single releases at other times of the year? If you have ordered 3 pieces from the MOST RECENT major set of new releases (June or December) and have NOT won a piece from that set, you are eligible to order and win piece #9 of any single (or small set of) release(s) that are announced before the next major set of releases are announced. For example, if you order 4 pieces from the June releases, and do not win any of the raffles, you are eligible to order and win #9 of any random releases that are announced BEFORE the December announcement.
